Now, when studying this chart, note that the first three rounds (in green) are bottlenecked classics not legal in straight wall states. I’ve seen some numbers for 12-13” barrels that put Hornady 250gr factory ammo at around 100-150fps less than a 16”. So maybe 1950-2000fps area. I found chrono numbers for Windhams 9” barrel with Hornady’s 250gr ammo, which is 1730fps.
