Zombies are fantastic, friend, but their despawn rate is awful. Sure you can always reacquire more zombies, but they'll never be the 'good zombies' you've farmed for. They have a despawn rate between 24h and 3 days and it almost feels random when they do. It can even happen while they are following you.
