I put probably 30k miles on a 1989 NV3500/HM290 with a ~400 crank hp small block, including towing and autocross. The transmission had 155000 miles on it when I swapped in the built engine. It was still fine when I sold it.The transmission came with a round rubber mount that had a single stud mount on the bottom. The transmission casting had two threaded holes. I used a 60-70's PG/350 mount with two bolts on the top & 2 on the bottom. Bolted right up to the transmission.
