Don't know if this might help, but I did find a thread that mentioned (splice pack) sp423 -- a bunch of grounds packed together on the rear crossmember just behind the fuel tank (and damned difficult to get to). Apparently, corrosion of this pack can even cause engine misfire codes. If the blower works on high but does not work on some or most of the lower speeds the issue is a damaged blower resistor and harness connector. If this is your only issue you can find the needed parts here. If the blower does not work on any speed the issue has always been a bad ground at splice pack located behind the engine air filter assembly. Unplugged the connector behind the glove box to test for power coming in Brown for + Orange for - No power. moved the negative lead to a black wire in the same connector and 12v. moved the lead to the metal bar 12v. If you just broke the tab off, go to a junk yard and find another one.
