Picked this up at a LGS and went almost straight to the range. I ran this brand new gun head to head with my Glock 19 Gen4 and my Glock 23 running a 9mm conv... It contains a 4.4″ barrel that translates to an overall length of 7.6″. Height is 5.5″ and maximum width is 1.4″. You can absolutely carry this pistol either outside or inside the waistband, just know it’s similar in size to something like a GLOCK 17, give or take. The 9X Platinum weighs in at 27.5 oz. empty. The duty-sized pistol balances nicely in the hand, with its 4.5-inch barrel giving it a bit of front weight. Honestly, these are welcome attributes, though they break from the modern herd. The 9mm Luger is polite as far as semi-auto pistol rounds go and is a plum kitten out of a gun with the 2000’s bulk.With a capacity of 12 rounds, this pistol features a polymer grip module that is manufactured to the highest standards. The barrel and slide were created from a forged steel alloy. Chambered in 9 x19 mm, the SAR9 SUBCOMPACT GEN2 is powered by striker-fired single-action technology.
